Q5: About battery drain issues? A5: Usually, if the wires are connected correctly, the radio will go into standby mode/deep sleep when you turn off the car engine. The power consumption is very low. It won’t drain too much battery. If it drains too much battery when you turn off your car, probably the wire connection is incorrect. So please kindly check whether the Accessory/Ignition wire, Constant/Battery power wire, and Chassis Ground wire are correctly connected as below. 1) The Accessory/Ignition wire needs to be connected to the ignition wire of the car ( or third-party harness ). 2) The Constant/Battery power wire needs to be connected to the 12v constant power supply of your car ( or third-party harness ). 3) The Chassis Ground wire needs to be connected to the ground wire of your car ( or third-party harness ).
